Our Mission.
The mission of Tradish Lacrosse is to honor the rich cultural heritage of indigenous nations of North America and to preserve the roots of lacrosse as the Creator's game. Our 501(c)(3) non-profit organization is dedicated to increasing indigenous representation in all manifestations of lacrosse by providing opportunities for indigenous youth players to learn, train and compete under the guidance of accomplished indigenous lacrosse players and respected coaches.
Through our efforts, we aim to increase awareness of the significance of lacrosse as a cultural touchstone and to facilitate pathways for indigenous youth players to participate in the game at all levels. We believe that by affirming the foundations of the game of lacrosse, stick ball, we can create a better understanding of indigenous culture and promote the principles of respect, honor, and unity that are central to the game.
We are committed to providing opportunities for indigenous youth lacrosse players to practice, play, and compete with other indigenous youth lacrosse players, fostering a community of support and connection. Through our efforts, we seek to advance education and awareness of the Creator's game globally, recognizing the importance of sharing the cultural heritage and values of indigenous nations with the world.
